Here we show how you can create deep links into other tabs and handle those as page parameters in the page. The onConfigure in the page gets the ModelTabbedPanel component from the component registry of NoWickets HtmlContext for the page and sets the selectedIndex there appropriate to the page parameter. Then it makes sure to remove the page parameter (via redirect) so page refreshes do not switch back to the old page index. The NoWicket page cache makes sure that the inputs do not get lost on redirects like these. For this, the page model (TabbedPanel java class) overrides the hashCode and equals methods to tell when the cache should be used or not (in this case always by checking only for the model class).
